M2 Global Technology, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Microwave Journal has published an article authored by two of the company’s engineers.  “Ferrite Circulator Switches and Their Applications,” by Rodger Billings, M.S. and Tony Edridge, Ph.D., appears in the November 2003 issue of the magazine.  Microwave Journal serves a broad range of fields including communications systems and equipment, broadcast systems, radar systems, aircraft navigation, weapons systems and equipment, industrial and academic laboratories, government and military research, and design and engineering.

The M2 Global article provides detailed information about the coaxial circulator switch, a three-port device utilizing a transversely magnetized ferrite junction to circulate incoming microwave energy and function as an SPDT switch.   Billings and Edridge describe the structure and features of the coaxial circulator switch, comparing it to electromechanical and PIN diode switches.

Rodger Billings, M.S., a consulting engineer for M2 Global Technology, has 40 years of experience in the design and development of passive microwave components.  Tony Edridge, Ph.D. is manager of engineering for M2 Global Technology.  He has extensive experience in engineering, quality, and project management in the telecommunications, electronics, and aerospace fields.
